Exploring the possibilities of a science of human behavior and supporting wellbeing

Professional Development
We provide professional development that helps behavior analysts deepen their conceptual knowledge and expand their practical skills. Our trainings draw from Relational Frame Theory (RFT), Relational Density Theory (RDT), Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and related advances in behavioral science. We emphasize thoughtful integration of these approaches into research, clinical practice, supervision, and professional growth.
Tools for Behavior Analysts
We develop practical, evidence-informed clinical tools grounded in RFT, RDT, ACT, and the broader functional-contextual tradition. These resources are designed to help behavior analysts assess complex patterns of behavior, strengthen clinical decision-making, and translate behavioral principles into effective interventions. Our goal is to make contemporary behavioral science more accessible and useful in everyday practice.
The Institute for Dynamic Behavior Science
The Institute for Dynamic Behavior Science (IDBS) is an independent research laboratory dedicated to expanding the scope and capacity of the science of human behavior. Through research, collaboration, and mentorship, IDBS advances behavioral science and supports the development of current and future behavior analysts committed to serving the world.

Bringing Behavior Science to Life
Practical
We believe in pragmatic solutions to complex problems. A strong theory or philosophy is one that effectively solves the challenge at hand. This requires staying up-to-date with new science and ideas to formulate behavioral technologies.
Empirical
Empiricism is important and involves data-driven decision making. Data quantifies reality and analysis makes sense of data to inform decisions. We take pride in developing and utilizing multiple data and analysis strategies to build individualized solutions.
Individualized
No two people are the same, and behavior analysis is uniquely well-suited to a science of individual people and systems. We take a highly person-centered and individualized approach to research, clinical services, and supervision.
